Welcome to the Swindon Cricket Club website.
Within the site you will find everything you need to know about our club, details of all of our teams, our officials and everything else that's going on at Swindon Cricket Club. Swindon CC is one of the oldest clubs in the the UK with a history reaching back nearly 175 years. The club currently operates four senior sides which compete in the West of England Premier League,Glos/Wilts division and the Wiltshire County Cricket League. In addition the club has a thriving youth section catering for all ages from 5 years upwards. The youth sides compete in the Wiltshire Youth Cricket League and are looked after by a team of ECB coaches. Any players,adults,juniors(boys and girls) who are keen to join us please contact the site administrator for further details.

Swindon 1st XI beat Potterne 1st XI by 34 runs
Swindon 2nd XI beatPotterne 2nd XI by 87 runs
Swindon A XI beat Swindon Civil Service by 48 runs
Swindon B XI lost to Keevil by 9 wkts
Swindon Sun 2nd XI beat West Reading by 8 wkts

END OF SEASON CELEBRATION 28TH SEPTEMBER 2012
The Swindon CC end of season celebration will once again be held at the Hilton Hotel Swindon on 28th September 2012. Please put the date in your diary. More details to follow in the near future.

The deadline for paying your 2012 Senior Membership is 31st May 2012. Please make every effort to either pass it on to your team captain or to the memership secretary Paul Sore asap.

JAKE ON THE VERGE !
Congratulations go yet again to Jake Goodwin who has made it through to the final selection trial for the S/SW England U15's in early June.A fantastic achievement considering Jake is a year below !
If Jake makes it through he will go on to represent the S/SW England in the world famous Bunbury U15 Festival in July. From here the England U15/16 development squad is chosen.
Well done Jake from everyone at Swindon CC, we'll all be hoping you get through and can go on to even greater things.

RETURN OF THE LEGEND - JON LEWIS
Now that Jon has left Gloucestershire and joined Surrey on a two year deal he has moved back nearer to Swindon and will be popping into the club as and when he can.
Jon has signed on for us and whilst he will not feature for us regularly there is a small chance that he will play the odd match for us during 2012.
Jon has often come back to the club where it all started for him (mainly for presentation nights ) and it's great for us to welcome him back.
Jon has helped some of our younger players in the past and will no doubt do so again in the future, hopefully both on and off the pitch.
Good news for Swindon Cricket Club leading up to the start of the 2012 season.
GET COLLECTING !
It's supermarket voucher time again so please start collecting vouchers from Tesco and Sainsbury's and help the club obtain yet more training kit.
The last two years have been very succesful but with an early start and a major team effort we can do even better this year.
Collection boxes for your vouchers will be in the pavilion soon.
